The International Cultural Center in Gaithersburg, MD asked Jason Hamacher to exhibit photographs and speak at the Jews and Muslims making Art Together (JAMmARTt) event on Feb 21 at. The ICC is a communal space run by an amazing group of Sufi Islamic women striving to make a change in this world. Hamacher is going to exhibit three large prints, two of the Great Synagogue of Aleppo & one of the Great Mosque of Aleppo. Hamacher plans to speak on his work in Syria and his forthcoming book, “Aleppo, Syria: Witness to an Ancient Legacy.”
